Training rooms

Practical rooms

Two specially designed spaces intended for practical exercises using advanced NDT equipment. One of the rooms is dedicated to work with UV radiation. Both are equipped with modern workstation fume hoods, which ensure safety during classes, as well as personal protective equipment, such as gloves, UV filter glasses, masks, or protective clothing, always available on site.

Theoretical room

Spacious and comfortable, equipped with modern teaching aids, providing ideal conditions for acquiring theoretical knowledge. The room also has a designated area where all-day coffee service is available, allowing participants to take convenient breaks during classes.

About us

Navi Academy is a Training Center established by Navitest – a company that has been providing non-destructive testing (NDT) services for years, supporting quality control and safety processes. Its goal from the beginning has been to create training courses based on market experience, current research methods, and the real requirements placed on NDT inspectors and quality control specialists in their daily work.

Where did Navi Academy come from

Navi Academy was established out of a very specific need. For years, we observed that many non-destructive testing training courses focused primarily on theoretical knowledge, with limited emphasis on the practical application of that knowledge in industrial settings.

As Navitest, we have been operating for decades in many industrial sectors and on various markets – in Poland and abroad. We wanted to translate this experience into training programs that genuinely prepare people for work.

The academy was also established to enable comprehensive NDT courses to be conducted in northern Poland, without the need to travel to the other end of the country.

From the beginning, our goal has been to train and educate NDT inspectors based on the industry needs we observe daily, current research methodologies, and work standards encountered in manufacturing plants, quality control processes, and industrial projects.

Training philosophy

Our approach is based on three pillars:

  • quality instead of formally „checking off training hours,”,
  • standardization of teaching in line with industrial work realities,
  • Coach's responsibility for the student's real understanding of the material.

Thanks to this, participants achieve a basic level of work independence much faster after completing the course. The training is intended to shorten the path from certification to real work, not lengthen it.

If a training participant is falling behind or having difficulty understanding the subject matter, we view this as an impetus to analyze our teaching methods and support their learning process, while simultaneously maintaining the participant's responsibility for their own engagement.

Industry professionals

Navi Academy trainers are practitioners who perform non-destructive testing daily across various industries. They work with real-world problems during inspections of welded joints, forgings, castings, sheets, pipes, and other non-standard objects – often under pressure of time, quality, and safety.

Thanks to a wide range of projects and methods, the knowledge transferred during training is not limited to a single sector. This experience helps build broader technical awareness and workplace safety across the entire industry.

Who are we today

Navi Academy began operations in September 2024 as a natural extension of the expertise of Navitest, the largest NDT service provider in Poland.

This gives students access to resources, equipment, and solutions that are often not programmatically required but genuinely broaden horizons – including techniques and devices not available in standard training.

Navi Academy is a Training Center built by practitioners – with the goal of developing people, improving industry safety, and raising real competencies of NDT inspectors.

Penetrant testing (PT) is one of the most versatile non-destructive testing methods, enabling the detection of surface discontinuities in non-porous materials. This method allows for precise identification of discontinuities such as cracks, porosity, or lack of fusion in a variety of materials. PT is particularly valued in industry due to its effectiveness and relatively low implementation costs.

Ultrasonic testing (UT) is an advanced non-destructive testing method that utilizes high-frequency sound waves to detect internal material discontinuities without compromising their structure. This method allows for precise identification of defects such as cracks, inclusions, and voids hidden within the inspected components, making it an essential tool in modern industry. Due to its versatility and accuracy, UT finds application in numerous sectors, from aviation to nuclear energy.

Radiographic testing (RT) is a non-destructive testing method that allows us to look into the structure of a material without compromising its integrity. Using X-rays or gamma rays, RT enables precise detection of internal discontinuities that are invisible to the naked eye. This method is used in the most demanding industries where the safety and reliability of structures are a priority.
